Word Scramble is a new technology that children can use to inhance their spelling skills. You are being timed while trying to unscramble a word. The more words you get done in that amount of time and the quicker you are thinking the more points you win. Teachers can use this WORD SCRAMBLE in their classrooms to help students learn to spell and solve problems. This invention seems very fun and looks like it will engage students in spelling for a long time.

MANY PEOPLE OVER THE YEARS HAVE HAD AN INFLUENCE ON TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION. AFTER INVESTIGATING I HAVE PIN-POINTED THREE PEOPLE WHO I BELIEVE HAVE HAD THE GREATEST IMPACT ON EDUCATION THROUGH THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY!

1. Timothy J. Magner - This man is the director of the office of Educational Technology. He has fifteen years of experience with teaching educational technology in schools. He is a internet specialist and program manager at Kenney Center K-12 program for teachers. He also helped deveolp retail technology standards for the National Retail Federation and was manager of the Online Public Brodcasting System in VA. He taught Grade level educational technology courses at Framingham State College. This man truly had an amazing affect on Educational Technology.

2. Bill Gates - While this name is wildly known, I believe that his inventions have highly affected education. Mr Bill Gates was the inventor of Microsoft. What would the class rooms be like without having word or excel? Thanks to Bill Gates students can now type their papers on a computer that comes complete with spell check and turn their standard information into a graph with just the click of a button.

3. Carole Colburn- She is a Michigan Educational Technology teacher. Ms. Colburn wond the ISTE Affialte Oustanding Teacher of the year award for 2007. She is a member and leader of the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning. Her teaching stratagies have won many different awards and she has opened doors for many youth into the world of technology.
